The core steel is VG-10 which is not hardened crazy hard, so it is easier to deal with.\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eVG-10 is an incredibly popular and widespread steel alloy in the knife world. Many have used it in their top series, and it must probably be the most widespread of the hard steel alloys.
